For over 20 years, Michael has been developing and deploying transportation and logistics technology solutions for the world’s most recognizable brands. His career began in 1998 with an internship at Schneider Logistics mapping out the JI Case account’s global inbound and outbound networks. Michael has been working as a Principal at enVista since 2017 after five years of delivering TMS implementations at MercuryGate for clients like Mexico’s largest 3PL: FEMSA Logistica (Dos XX, Coca-Cola, Oxxo brands). Previous to MercuryGate, Michael drove projects ranging from solution engineering to sales with Exel, MeridianIQ, RoadOne, Ryder, Penkse Logistics and uShip. Michael holds a BA in Geography from Carthage College and a Master of Arts in Geography from The Ohio State University, where he coded mathematical programs to solve network optimization for location selection with domestic after-market service parts networks.
John began his career in the Auto Industry in Mexico City working as a Project Manager and Operations Manager for Exel Logistics. After four years of corporate experience, he decided it was time to start his own business and launched a Green Energy Project Management firm working with Ford Motor Company and the United Nations on carbon reduction programs for the Kyoto Protocol helping to reduce energy consumption in Mexico.
Upon returning to the United States, John helped in developing the Regenerative Detroit 2020 project to transform the City of Detroit into the first truly regenerative city on the planet. John is now devoted to mentoring and coaching young people and creating and managing new economy businesses and non-profits to facilitate his dream of a Regenerative Planet.
